Responsibilities:
The Villages Health is building a world-class marketing and sales department to spread the word about our exemplary care model, while generating new patients to both our primary care centers and specialty care centers. We are currently seeking a Community Relations Coordinator to build key relationships with local individuals and organizations in The Villages® and surrounding communities to increase new patient numbers in our care centers.
- Become an expert on TVH brand, core values, care model, service offerings, providers, and locations.
- Promote TVH services by partnering with the community.
- Develop and execute grass roots lead generation strategies.
- Manage TVH presence at ongoing community events, including recurring lifestyle expo, market nights, VHA, and other community events. Ensure all events are properly staffed and have appropriate materials, equipment, and resources.
- Participate in a minimum of three events per month or 36 events per year (TVH & agents)
- Engage TVH in events with agent partners with the goal to create awareness and leads.
- Plan all aspects of TVH marketing/sales events, plus agent events with a focus on good ROI.
- Organize activities, including sales events, to enhance TVH presence in the community.
- Acts as liaison with community advocacy groups and other organizations that impact target population.
- Identify, develop, and build relationships with community organizations, provider offices and faith-based organizations. Create referrals generated as a result of our community relationships. Be responsible for developing new contacts and maintaining existing relationships or partnerships in the community.
- Document and manage community contacts and sales events in a database.
- Assist members and potential members with inquiries.
- Give presentations to small and large groups of people, communicating features and differences of TVH.
- Monitor and report on lead generation, conversion rates and ROI of various events and activities.
- Meet or exceed individual performance goals.
- Uphold The Villages and The Villages Health brand standards.
- Attend weekly marketing meetings and contribute to team goals.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Adhere to compliance and HIPPA regulations.
- Report to the Director of Marketing & Sales.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Two or more years of experience in health care and/or Community Development is desired.
- Experience and knowledge of the The Villages and community is desired.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, web-based applications, and use of the internet
- 2-3 years in health care marketing, event management or community relations role
- Multi-specialty care experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience using CRM software to track and manage leads
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicare Advantage insurance preferred
- Passion for patient service and The Villages Health mission and core values
- Knowledge of health care field.
- Knowledge of customer service principles, applications, and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of The Villages and surrounding community.
- Skill in using computer and customer relationship management tools.
- Skill in organizing events and managing details.
- Ability to speak in group settings, and to small and large audiences.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people and staff via phone, in person and through email.
- Ability to establish and manage relationships with a wide variety of people.
- Ability to organize and execute multiple events and projects with similar timelines.
- Ability to analyze data for decision-making, problem-solving and process improvement.
- Passion for building relationships and networking.
