Responsibilities:
As trusted Human Resources professionals partnering with employees and leaders to make The Villages Health the employer of choice, the Human Resources team is held to possess the highest level of ethics and integrity, while championing the vision and mission of the organization; therefore, TVH recruits Human Resources professionals who are supportive of these initiatives.
Under supervision of the Manager – Human Resources & Non-Clinician Recruitment, the Non-Clinician Recruiter is responsible for performing recruitment duties with professionalism and works closely with the Recruitment Team to support the organization’s hiring managers with various recruitment functions. The responsibilities within these functional areas include: job advertising and posting, recruitment and various projects as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Serves as point of contact for provision of consultative service to hiring managers and the leadership team.
  • Serves as resource for recruitment policies, procedures, and practices to supervisors, HR staff, team members, and others.
  • Conducts employment related research and other methods of sourcing of qualified candidates.
  • Represents and promotes organization to potential applicants by providing information, responding to questions, and collecting applicant data.
  • Conducts customized screening and initial contact of applicants to determine qualification and interest level.
  • Works with candidates to obtain required certifications, licenses, and diplomas.
  • Maintains the Applicant Tracking System and Microsoft Planner.
  • Manages Position Requisition Forms ensuring accuracy, updating master PCN, and posting open positions internally and externally, as applicable
  • Monitors job postings and social media reviews/comments.
  • Reconciles posting invoices for processings.
  • Assists with screening and initial contact of applicants to determine qualification and interest level.
  • Provides support with coordination of recruitment projects and related services to supervisors, hiring managers, recruitment team members, and others.
  • Coordinates TVH’s participation in job fairs, community activities, and other public and departmental recruitment related events such as hiring events.
  • Coordinates and reporting for partnerships with high schools/colleges including TVHS grad program and clinical rotations.
  • Works with recruitment agencies and reconciles invoices.
  • Works with temp agencies as needed.
  • Processes internal transfer requests.
  • Monitors and reporting for market analysis for clinical hard to fill positions.
  • Reviews New Hire Action Forms for accuracy and completeness before forwarding to HR Specialist.
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, employment, HRIS, compensation, benefits, pay administration, and other related organizational policies, practices, procedures, and/or regulations.
  • Handles and prioritizes multiple ranges of advanced administrative duties with wide latitude for independent judgment and initiative.
  • Assists with identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing recruitment activities to continuously improve processes.
  • Updates weekly HR NCR Dashboard report.
  • Updates various tracking spreadsheets as required such as Master PCN, new hire tracking, and referrals.

  • Participates in other duties and responsibilities as assigned in order to recruit and retain team members.
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in business, communications, or marketing or the equivalent in work experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in recruitment or human resources.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Willing to train the right candidate.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required and means of transportation.
  • Proficient in electronic, verbal and written communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft office to include Email, Word, Excel and Power Point Self-starter and motivated to work independently and productively with limited supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and transition between various projects
  • A high level of judgement and decision-making ability when interacting with all levels of staff and leadership
  • Experience with HR systems Excellent analytical skills and ability to prepare and analyze data and reports
  • A high level of accuracy with minimal errors
  • The role requires strong interpersonal skills, project coordination abilities, time management skills, flexibility, compassion and empathy, a high level of sensitivity to confidential matters, and the ability to interact well with all levels of internal management and staff and external partners.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
